Bruinen is a sandblasted egg shaped pipe and stained black with highlights of the natural wood. This pipe is handcrafted with Mimmo briar and sports a SEM limited edition handcut stem with a delrin tenon. The stem has a mammoth spine accent adding a nice contrast between the stem and stummel. Bruinen is a great pipe for multitasking as it is not too heavy and has a nice bend that flows smoothly from the button to the bottom of the stummel.
The River Bruinen (“Loudwater”) was a river in the region of Eriador which fed into the Mitheithel. The Bruinen began with two tributaries in the Misty Mountains, one of them at the High Pass where Goblin-town was later dug.
