The Red pipe rest is made with Grecian Makis briar with a contrasting red and black stain bringing out the beautiful straight grain. The red color the pipe rest has is very beautiful in person but sadly it does not come out in the pictures as well. Lighter colored pipes really look the best with this pipe rest as it is a little bit dark, but it is perfect to display one of your favorite pipes in. This pipe rest will hold small, medium and larger bowled pipes very well but any pipes with stems that are longer than about 7 inches do sit as firmly in it.
