The Laurelin pipe is a classic apple shaped pipe with a little freehand twist I added to it by leaving a raised line of briar running from the shank to the bottom of the bowl. The pipe is made with premium Italian briar that I let age for a few months before I carved the pipe and a Limited-edition SEM German ebonite stem and is equipped with a delrin tenon to provide the pipe with a smooth and tighter fit. The Laurelin has some very beautiful straight grain on one side a continues around to the other and changes a bit but still retains its beauty. On the bottom you can see some bird-eyes and where the raised briar line meets together. Like all of the briar pipes I make, this pipe has a hand-cut SEM German ebonite stem that is a light grey/white swirl color and fits perfectly flush against the rest of the shank. All of the airways line up perfectly with the air hole being dead center in the middle of the tobacco chamber to provide a perfect draw and allows for the smooth passage pipe cleaner.
