(Custom pipe, do not buy unless this is for you) This pipe is made with Grecian briar that has been aged for the past 40 years and a green swirl acrylic stem. Dorthonion is a bent freehand pipe with a vase shaped bowl that has a plateaux rim and a beautiful contrasting brown/black stain with the green swirl stem and a lighter colored briar accent and green acrylic accent before the stem. The stem is a half saddle half taper stem with a delrin tenon to provide a tighter and smoother fit. The pipe has properly drilled airways that allow for the smooth passage of a pipe cleaner and a perfect draw.

Dorthonion was a Sindarin name that meant ‘land of pines’.  It was a highland region of the First age lying immediately to the north of Beleriand, and south of the plains of Ard-galen bordering Morgoth’s stronghold of Thangorodrim in Middle Earth
